The Sonju Family

Scott and Amy Sonju were thankful to move back to Texas in 2003 after 7 years abroad. They met while students at Texas A&M and have been married for 16 years. God has blessed them with 4 wonderful children, Autumn (13), Mason (10), Whitney (8), and Austin (3).

Scott is President of the Frisco RoughRiders, who play their games at the most beautiful ballpark in the country - Dr Pepper Ballpark. The RoughRiders strive to provide affordable family entertainment, unique marketing opportunities for area companies, and to have a meaningful impact on their employees and the community. The RoughRiders continue to win multiple awards and Scott was recognized in the Collin County Business Press 40 under 40 last year for his business and civic contributions.

Scott serves on the boards of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Christ and Culture. He also chairs the boards of two Collin County based non-profits: the Frisco RoughRiders Foundation and Chosen Child Adoption Services. Scott and Amy enjoy being active in their church and the community.

The Sonju family enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and of course, going to RoughRiders games!
